Elke Sommer was only twenty-four years old when she introduced her art to the public and had her first exhibition held at the McKenzie Galleries in Beverly Hills.

Over the years, Elke Sommer had a myriad of additional exhibitions - in the United States as well as in Europe (the photo to the left shows Elke Sommer in the summer of 1969 in the California Museum of Science and Industry with one of the buyers of her art, Lorne Greene, star of the worldwide successful television series Bonanza).
