After earning an impressive third place at T. Barrys 26th Annual "Pre-Memorial" IRISH OPEN, Elke Sommer and her husband Wolf Walther will soon participate in another prestigious golf tournament:

Alice Cooper’s Rock and Roll Golf Classic

The charity event in support of the Solid Rock Foundation, which is dedicated to helping troubled teenagers and children, will take place at the Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, on April 4, 2011.

On March 29, Elke Sommer was one of the invited guests at the Celebration of Life event in memory of director, author, and producer Blake Edwards, the man behind her international movie success A Shot in the Dark who died on December 15, 2010. The event was attended by numerous Hollywood luminaries and hosted by Edwards' widow Julie Andrews, the Directors Guild of America, the Writers Guild of America as well as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the organization best known for its annual Oscar awards.
